Design & Installation
We provide end-to-end electrical design and turnkey installation—engineering load calculations, specifying equipment, drafting plans, pulling permits, and delivering code-compliant installs. From new builds to system retrofits, our team coordinates with GCs and inspectors, maintains clean job sites, and commissions every system for safety, performance, and on-schedule handoff.
High Voltage Systems
High-Voltage Systems We design, install, and maintain medium and high-voltage distribution, including switchgear, transformers, substations, and protective relays. Our crews handle feeder upgrades, terminations, grounding, and arc-flash/NFPA 70E compliance, with testing (DLRO, insulation resistance, relay/primary injection) and full startup/commissioning—for reliable power, safer operations, and minimal downtime.
Cell Tower Work
We support turnkey cell site builds and upgrades, including power distribution, grounding/bonding, surge protection, DC plant and battery systems, generator hookups, and temporary power. Our crews handle BTS cabinets, coax/fiber runs, cable trays, and ice bridges, with sweep/PIM testing, labeling, and close-out documentation to meet carrier, OSHA, and NEC requirements.
Commercial & Industrial
We deliver design-build and plan-spec projects for offices, retail, warehouses, plants, and utilities—new construction, tenant build-outs, expansions, and modernizations. Services include service upgrades, switchgear and distribution, lighting and controls, PLC/automation tie-ins, and preventive maintenance with thermal scans and load studies. We coordinate closely with GCs and facility teams to execute during live operations or planned shutdowns, staying code-compliant, safe, on schedule, and on budget.
Rework & Upgrades
Rework and Upgrades We modernize existing electrical systems with minimal downtime—service and panel upgrades, load balancing, feeder and conduit replacements, lighting and controls retrofits, GFCI/AFCI protection, and grounding/bonding corrections. Scope includes code-compliance remediation, arc-flash labeling, coordination studies, permits, and as-builts. Work is phased around operations to keep your facility running safely and on schedule.
Certifications
Certifications State-licensed and fully insured, our team maintains OSHA 10/30 and NFPA 70E electrical safety training, CPR/First Aid, lift and fall-protection certifications, and lockout/tagout competency. Crews complete site-specific orientations (TWIC, refinery/plant, and utility clearances as required). Manufacturer and equipment trainings are current, and documentation is available on request.

Max Key
Owner & Master Electrician
Max Key is the owner of Maximum Electrical L.L.C. and a Texas-licensed Master Electrician since 1995, following journeyman experience from 1986–1995. He founded the company in 2008 and leads design-build, service, and upgrade projects with a focus on safety, code compliance, accurate estimating, and on-schedule delivery. His hands-on field background and project leadership ensure practical solutions from planning through commissioning.
John N. Puckett
Estimator & Field Supervisor
John N. Puckett is an estimator and field supervisor with 45+ years in the electrical trade. He entered the industry in 1979, worked as a journeyman from 1989–2008, and has served as a Master Electrician since 2008. John leads estimating and field execution—coordinating crews, schedules, vendors, and inspections—while enforcing code compliance and safety for smooth, on-time, on-budget closeouts.
Linda Putman
Office Manager
Linda Putman has managed office operations at Maximum Electrical L.L.C. since 2010, coordinating scheduling, purchasing, and project documentation. She keeps client communications moving, oversees billing and vendor accounts, and supports crews with permits, COIs, and close-out packages. Her organization and follow-through help projects stay on track and clients stay informed.
